Catalpa is a native wood, a beautiful carving wood with great grain and color. Just a few days ago, we found the finest log we have ever seen. The tree was dead, bark gone, and had to be cut. It was not wasted.

In more than 30 years of sawing wood, we have not seen one like this. 13’ long 20″ wide and perfect. Here are some pieces of artwork that we have carved from Catalpa.
