We love the game. Its joy and frustrations, the swing between love and hate that happens for most of us from one lousy hole to the next one that has us seriously considering the Senior Tour later in life, the comraderie of being as vulnerable as you have to be on the golf course, the beauty of seeing your son or daughter first connect solidly with the ball, followed shortly by the inevitable smile that burns into your memory as surely as their first step or that first day at school and triggers your own memories of a ball well hit and the sweet completion that experience brings.
