These experts, most with investigative and security related backgrounds from previous service in military, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, are identified as to specialty and location through their membership in INTELNET, which is the focal point for the organization.
Each INTELNET member is an independent business person, operating his or her enterprise. INTELNET members adhere to the INTELNET Code of Conduct, which stresses ethical, professional and expert conduct. Their capabilities, reputation and performance are sustained through their membership in INTELNET, and is enhanced by their participation in the seminars, training and experiences available from the INTELNET organization and other related associations.
INTELNET members number over 350, with at least one in every state. In addition, there are now members in over 30 foreign countries, including Eastern European nations, together with Pacific rim, Central and South America, Africa and the Middle East.
