Requirements for Marriage in Sevier County: No blood test is required in the state of Tennessee if both parties are 18 years or older. Regardless of age, proof of age is required. Birth certificate, driver license, or school records will be acceptable. You do not have to be a resident of Sevier County or the state of Tennessee in order to be married here. The romance of winter sparkles in Gatlinburg like no place else. From the millions of lights that glow in animated displays throughout the city to the light that glows in a couples' eyes, our little mountain town truly makes the winter bright.

Gatlinburg's Smoky Mountain Lights was named the South's number one festival when it first appeared. Its seventh season, stretching from November through February, promises to be the best ever, with over two million lights shining in moving displays that can be as much as sixty feet high. You'll see everything from giant toy soldiers to bavarian cuckoo clocks and the now famous "Gatlinbear." It's a one-of-a-kind winter event for the entire family.
