There's so much to see and do in Gatlinburg, you'll wish you had a couple of extra days to spend. With
the Smoky Mountains as a backdrop, our trolley will whisk you to the hundreds
of interesting stores and quaint shops. You can take the "crafts loop" in the
Great Smoky Mountains Arts & Crafts
Community to find special gifts or the keepsake you've always wanted. And you'll find wood
carvings, furniture and folk art collectibles.
There's also great recreation, including the Gatlinburg Municipal Golf Course. In prime condition after three-quarters
of a million dollars in renovations, this course provides unique golfing excitement in a spectacular mountain setting.
Take the new trolley, ride the chair lifts, rent a golf cart, hop
on the famous Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram (the largest in the world), or
just foray into the park to take in the beauty of the scenery. There are
golf courses and fishing. Great restaurants and horseback riding. Campgrounds and hiking trails. And
in the winter...the fun is all downhill with alpine skiing, ice skating, and holiday celebrations.
It's no wonder that so many millions of people are attracted to the attractions all around Gatlinburg.
